Password Management | Mobile Devices

Your Geneva account's password will expire every 90 days. Reminders are sent to your Geneva email address in the days leading up to your account's lock-out.

 

Geneva Password Reset Instructions – Site Users
 
Browse to: https://reset.genevausa.org
If you are unable to reach this site, please notify IT@genevausa.org

Select Reset My Password.
Domain: geneva
Username: <first initial lastname>
If you are unsure of your username, contact IT@genevausa.org
 

A 6 digit PIN code will be sent to the email address you were registered with (yahoo; gmail; mail.mil; etc.)
Enter that PIN code

You will be prompted to enter a new password (8 digits in length min., upper case, lower case, number and special characters)
Once you enter it twice, your password will be reset.

To change your password via the Outlook Web Application, first you must login.

On the top right, select "Options,"
Then Select "Change Your Password."

Enter your old password, and choose a new password that meets the following criteria

  • 8 characters long
    Must contain the following 4 elements 
  • lower case
  • upper case
  • number
  • non alpha-numeric characters such as $ or %.
    Your password cannot contain your first or last name.
     

 

Adding Your Geneva Email to a Mobile Device

 

Enable a PIN CODE lock on your device

Add a Microsoft Exchange Active Sync email account 
Domain: Geneva

Username: <your username>

Password: <your password>

Exchange Server: owa.genevausa.org
